Marisha Pessl, who grew up in Asheville and caught the literary world’s attention four years ago with her stellar debut novel, Special Topics in Calamity Phsyics, is set to release her next novel this fall. It’s called Night Film. The new book, described by Wikipedia as “a psychological literary thriller[…]about a New York filmmaker looking into an apparent suicide”, will be published by Random House in Fall 2010.”

I haven’t seen much advance press about this eagerly anticipated follow. I’m anxious to hear more about the book. As loyal readers may recall, I have a personal connection to this great writer.

Looking forward to 'critique' of "Night Film" (and Pessl) by Peter S. (See 2006 Ashvegas comment)
