Neuticle Report
WLOSers were looking forward to seeing Master Rick, Dungeon Dan and another buddy in court for another hearing so the TV box could have another neuticle report. It’s been several days since we’ve heard any more about castration cults, dungeons and sexual devices in Haywood County. You remember – they guys are charged with castration without malice (or a medical license).
Suspect in homicide
Michelle Boudin told us yesterday that Sheriff Bobby Medford has a suspect in Monday’s homicide in Weaverville.
Police were called to a home on North Buncombe School Road near Weaverville. They found a woman shot in the head. They found her husband, beaten. He’s still in the hospital. The sheriff said there didn’t appear to be any forced entry into the home and they’ve been working on collecting evidence.
Wal-Mart out
Wal-Mart dropped its bid to build a supercenter on Smoky Park Highway next to the Lowe’s there. Wal-Mart announced its decision the same day Ashvegas City Council was set to vote, and because of a protest petition, the Wal-Mart needed six of seven council members to vote in favor of it for it to pass.
Carolyn “Little Red” Ryan, standing at the site – an empty lot – delivered the news to us.

Sheriff Medford also reported the Weaverville case was "an apparent homicide." That sounds reasonable ’cause it sure as hell didn’t sound like she tripped over the cat and landed on the kitchen floor to sustain that degree of injury. Why not just come right out and say, "Boys, we got us a murder here."
