New Tea Party group emerges in WNC: Blue Ridge Tea Party

Share

Verve magazine tweets that a new Tea Party faction has emerged in Western North Carolina – the Blue Ridge Tea Party. Here’s the info:

Sounds like there’s a new Tea Party in town. AVL Tea Party’s Jane Bilello sez new Blue Ridge Tea Party covers Transylvania, Polk and Hendo.

The fledging Tea Party movement has had some rough patches here in WNC over the past few months. I haven’t followed it closely, but Bilello resigned from Hendersonville Tea Party group back in April and is now aligned with the Asheville group. A recent letter to the editor of the Hendersonville Times-News shows there’s still discord.

Anyone know who is leading the new Blue Ridge Tea Party?

Calling someone a "Teabagger" does such a great job of discouraging those who believe in the Tea Party movement. The saying kinda bit the left on the Ass when they decided to be childish about it because it looks like its going to be the Tea Party Tea Bagging the incumbents in this upcoming election.

Who cares? Anyone who preaches hate/taxlessness in UN-Amerikkkan! Teabaggers, please don't ride our buses, ask for tax-breaks. And GAWDD forbid you lose your job, please do not seek assistance from ANY social-services. OUR taxes are not yours to waste.

It appears that Miller can't get the endorsement of the local Tea Party so he has created a new group to get a "Tea Party" endorsement.

Strange that his general election stratagy is to go to the extreme right.
