hi there,i’m matthew. i’ve been the repair tech at echo mountain since 2007 and an electrical engineer since 1996. i’m about to open a music store called Sherwood’s Music in the old strick’s motorcycle building at 180 patton ave. We’re having our grand opening the evening of friday oct 14, starting around 8pm with a performance by Curtains and Electric Owls.We offer repair of most any amp or piece of outboard gear, and provide authorized service for Mesa/Boogie, Fender, and vintage Moog stuff.We’re looking to fill in the downtown void left by Smashing Guitars, and while we buy/sell/trade amps, instruments, pro audio, and components you used to be able to get at places like radio shack, we’ll also have accessories for all kinds of instruments, and kits/literature for people interested in DIY electronics.thanks!
