New downtown Asheville Rotary Club seeking members

ASHEVILLE — Want to meet others in the early evening in downtown Asheville for business networking, socializing and the opportunity to participate in humanitarian public service opportunities in Western North Carolina and abroad?

Then come find out more about a newly forming Rotary International club for downtown Asheville at an inaugural meeting at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 11 in the Windsor Ballroom on the first floor of the Renaissance Asheville hotel at 31 Woodfin St.

Members of the Rotary Club of Asheville are organizing the meeting and facilitating the formation of the new club. At the March 11 meeting, a program about Rotary and its humanitarian volunteer efforts will be presented, light refreshments will be served, and information about the new club will be shared.

Thereafter, the new club will meet at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday beginning March 18 in the Grove Arcade’s downstairs conference room
