Here’s the latest on Antler Hill at Biltmore Estate, from the Asheville Citizen-Times‘ Tony Kiss:
After more than a year of construction, guests can finally visit the new Antler Hill Village site at Biltmore Estate starting Friday.
All parts of the 15-acre site will be open on Friday, including the new Cedric’s Tavern restaurant and pub, the Creamy ice cream shop, plus the Legacy exposition hall, the Traditions retail space and a new entrance into the winery, said estate spokeswoman LeeAnn Donnelly.
The Biltmore welcome center will open on Friday as usual at 8:30 a.m., and the house at 9 a.m. The Creamery will begin serving treats at 10 a.m. and the tavern opens at 11 a.m. Parking attendants will direct visitors who want to see the new site, she said.
Final construction work continues at the expansion, “but it will be done by Friday,” she said.
