Movies at The Wedge

I love The Wedge, and I love movies at The Wedge. Last year I saw Thunder Road at the River Arts District brewery. This year, I’ve missed out. Next up, on Aug. 29, is Cool Hand Luke. Nothing beats a great handmade beer and a free movie down by the railroad tracks.

Loyal reader Susanne reminds me:

Hey Jason,

The Wedge Brewing Company (in the Wedge Building in the River Arts District) shows movies on the side of their white box truck in the gravel lot outside the industrial, locals hang out. Every other Saturday through October, you can bring your lawn chairs, grab some peanuts or food from the gourmet brat vendor, a tasty beverage and watchthe 9 p.m.movie for FREE! Movies are listed on the right side of their webpage http://www.wedgebrewing.com/News.html

Very Best, Susanne

Hand Craft beer? Thats a bit going too far I believe, its a beer its a locally made beer, its a locally made beer in a town that won a silly little contest. That is all. Its a local brewed beer nothing more, not a religious experiince its a beer.

And what sad is that the people in this town are so tragically hip that they would rather drink a wretched PBR or something that tastes good then a Local brewed beer.
