Brenda continues to lean on Billy. He’s understanding. She feels better.
Meanwhile, Claire rolls up on Nate’s grave in the middle of the night.
“Why did you have to die? It really sucks. Everything’s unraveling since you’ve been gone.”
Nate appears – “That’s not true.”
“I miss you so much,” Claire says. She tells Nate she never really knew him. Nate says, “Stop listening to the static.” Everything is a transmission in the dark, he says, it’s all static. But if you listen too closely, “it fucks you up.”
Claire: “Are you high?”
Nate: “Yes, I am, actually.”
Now Nate runs off as a wild coyote or something charges in the dark.
