Here’s the latest note I received regarding Moogfest from Mike Adams, in response to an earlier post asking for details about the big event. Earlier this year, it was announced that Moogfest would be moving from New York City to Asheville this year. The event has celebrated the legacy of electronic music pioneer Bob Moog, who lived in Asheville. Background here.

Folks: I am sorry this release which was done by Moog Music a few months ago was premature. We are working with a new promoter and there was a miss-communication between his firm and ours. There will be a Moogfest but it appears that it will not be until next year. Details will be announced as soon as we know more and will be available at www.moogfest.com Again, very sorry for the premature release.
