The productions are:

Feb. 10 – 20: The Real Inspector Hound, by Tom Stoppard  – a highly enjoyable send-up of the familiar Shakespearean convention of a play within a play, The Real Inspector Hound is a parody of the stereotypical whodunit in the style of Agatha Christie.  It follows two theatre critics, Birdboot and Moon, who are reviewing a typical country house murder mystery.  A sure-fire hit from the author of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead!

April 14 – 24: Lysistrata, by Aristophanes – Lysistrata is a comic account of one woman’s extraordinary mission to end The Peloponnesian War. Lysistrata convinces the women of Greece to withhold sexual privileges from their husbands and lovers as a means of forcing the men to negotiate peace, a strategy however that inflames the battle between the sexes.

Candidates are asked to email info@montfordparkplayers.org for submission materials.  Interviews will be held Saturday, Nov. 13.
