Merle Haggard, not dead

Bulldog reports:

heads up , news at noon tuesday reportd that Merle Haggard will receive a lifetime achievement award or something like that, and then victoria dunkel commented that this was a posthumous award and his work with “The Highwaymen” was good or something to that effect. bob caldwell quickly corrected her that Waylon Jennings was who she was talking about. Victoria came back on after commercial and said, “I’m sorry, Merle Haggard has NOT died.”
