The annual ADDY® Awards is the world’s largest advertising competition, representing the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world.
This January 2010, the American Advertising Federation of Asheville (AAFA) is hosting its first regional ADDY® Awards competition in nearly 15 years. Schedule of events are as follows: entries due by Friday, January 8; judging on Friday and Saturday, January 15 and 16; and the award party on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
The AAFA, which serves all of Western North Carolina, will be hosting a free “ADDY’s Workshop” to help interested participants learn the basics about the competition guidelines and preparing entries. The local ADDY® Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Entry in the local ADDY® competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY®.

Great…thanks for the tip! Didn’t know Asheville had an AAF chapter. I was going to enter into the Greenville competition but now I can stay closer to home
