Here’s a question for all you lovers out there: how’s your stamina? It’s an interesting question, with some interesting implications. But we won’t get into all that.
We’ll define the question as WKSF Kiss Country defined the question today: how long can you stand out in the snow and cold with your lips pressed to your partner’s? Five couples took up the challenge Saturday, outside Alan’s Jewelry and Pawn.
It’s an annual contest, usually held close to Valentine’s Day. I suppose last weekend’s snow postponed the contest until this week. I’m not exactly sure what the grand prize is – some kind of trip “outside the U.S.,” according to what I’ve heard on the radio.
As I stood and watched, I was sure that I would see someone drop out. Nobody appeared to be really dressed for the cold and snow and whipping wind, although a few of the ladies had ear muffs and thick coats. They stood, apparently having to keep their hands off one another, only lips touching.
I started to wonder what the Guinness record is for longest kiss. Is there a record for longest love-making session? How long have you ever gone at it, with lips or otherwise? What’s your personal best?

Hmmmm
Personal best? It must have been under the stars of the Morehead Panetarium in CH. Oh wait, that wasn’t me, it was you Ash.
Damn, it really was so long ago I can’t recall the time. I will say that while i was "holding out" the make-out sessions were much longer.
EM is right. It’s not the length that matters; it’s the quality.
This event just looks dumb. That’s not kissing.
O, I don’t think clocks are compatible with love-making.
Hmmmm. I can’t answer that. I just don’t know.
However, I’m curious to find out how long the Kiss Country couples lasted.
