We at Ashvegas just want to get one thing cleared up, in anticipation of all you sorry Dook fans lashing out in your time of misery – Dook sucks.
Yes, Carolina lost last weekend. So what. The Tar Heels – the defending National Champions by the way – lost all of their top scorers and began the year starting four freshman. Carolina was picked to finish in the middle of the ACC. Instead, the Tar Heels exceeded expectations and finished second in the ACC, got a three seed in the Big Dance and had a great year despite it all.
Now let’s look at Dook. Nearly undefeated in the ACC. Yet another ACC Tourney championship. A number one seed in the NCAA Tournament. But instead of meeting expections (as the Tar Heels did last year, with a top seed and a national championship), Dook, once again, lost. Choked. Lost. Dook did not meet expectations.
In short, Dook sucked.

Make all the excuses you want–I would much rather pull for a team that bows out to a good team like LSU than lose to a school like George Mason. And if you want to talk about crybabies, better take a nice long look at the tears shed by your precious Roy Williams after losing to… who? Oh, that’s right, GEORGE MASON!!!!!
Did you ever figure out which Mason beat the Tar Heels? Jackie … Marsha … James …Freemasons … Perry Mason?
Also, I must have gotten up for another beer when Coach K picked up his chair and slammed it to the floor in a first-grade temper tantrum.

Dook didn’t. Despite the fact that they had everything going for them – including player of the year candidate Redick and Ride-Me-Sheldon.

Was looking at the TV listings Thursday for the time of the Carolina NCAA game, but couldn’t find it. Channel surfed and couldn’t find it…found Dooks game, but no Carolina….because…thats right, they got drilled by GEORGE MASON.
Sorry Ashvegas, Carolina had a great year, but Dook won the ACC and advanced further in the NCAA bash, so I think you have to admit that they had the better year this year. Dook might have choked and sucked, but Carolina swallowed.
