Songbird Kellin Watson is working on her second album and is apparently trying to raise $6,000, like, yesterday. We love Kellin and her music, but this out-and-out begging is a little much. Anyhoo, in the supportive spirit that Ashvegas is known for, we pass it along to you.
I have been hard at work on my second album since October with Aaron Price and Bill Reynolds. I am doing everything I can think of to try and raise the money for this album asap as well.
So, I’ve put together a pre-order option to try raising the money, or at least some of it. The cost will be $20, but you will receive an added surprise bonus for pre-ordering, that other buyers will not get in on. And that includes the shipping, handling, and taxes. By pre-ordering one, two or even 5 copies of my new album, you will be actively contributing to my album fund, which will be VERY MUCH appreciated and needed. …

Kellin taught me how to play Sexual Healing on the git-picker in college. True story. But I wouldn’t even spend $20 to preorder my favorite artist (Radiohead). So, uh, yeah… Good luck, Kellin.
I would (probably will) pre-order the cd. Kellin’s music is awesome, and I am willing to bet the new cd would be a great addition to my collection!
