Here’s a new cartoon by local illustrator David Cohen. He does great editorial cartooning, and he’s working hard to get word out about himself.

David Cohen has been drawing editorial cartoons for the Asheville Citizen-Times for 3 years, but has drawn for many other publications in WNC, including Mountain Xpress, Smoky Mountain News, Out ‘n’ About, and Green Line. He is a member of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, and posts to their website, www.editorialcartoonists.com.
He regularly e-mails his cartoons to over 100 subscribers, and can include you in that bunch if you so desire. He can be contacted at david@cohencidents.com.

His stuff is pretty meh to me.
David Cohen offers masterful insights and observations into the absurdity of what we call everyday life. He has just gotten better over the years.
Whats funny is Cohen blasts the GOP on a regular Basis but supports Shuler in this pic. Shuler is very much a Blue Dog, given that he is blind to all he see’s are R’s and D’s in front of names.
