Julie Blunder does it again

Yesterday, weather reader Julie Blunder was all over the page when it came to the weather forecast.

First, she called Saturday a “stunning” day, when it in fact was gray and overcast most of the day, then rained about 6:30 p.m. To me, the description “stunning” should be reserved for those rare spring and fall days in the mountains, when the sky is a perfect Carolina blue, it’s about 72 degrees and everything is beautiful.

Her forecast for today was all over the board. It was going to be scattered thunderstorms, but the rain would probably stay away, but there would be an isolated storm, but it was going to be a nice day.

I don’t know where you are, Julie WunderDunce, but it’s been overcast all day. We’re going to start tracking exactly what you predict, then come back and match it up with what actually happened. Do you think you can just make this shit up and nobody will notice? We notice.

After some thought, I think Oh Please may have a point…

Nice to see you think so highly of yourself Damon. Judging from your post, your ability to speak and write isn’t that great either.

Julie being hired by NEWS13 is the biggest joke that thestation ever did. She’s not even a meteorologist…she has a dance degree. Her forecasts are always wrong and her vocabulary is that of a 1st grader..it’s a good thing that Julie is not in a market that has a lot of severe wweather like the midwest, otherwise she would be fired in a heartbeat. I would love to see her break in to coverage w/ a viper radar and a few tornados/ supercells and see how she does…good luck finding a new job ms wunder

Understand that I’m not a “meteorologist” and I’ve never played Goofy at Disneyworld, so I may not know all of the technicalities in why WLOS posted a “Flood Watch” for Buncombe County across the screen all day Sunday afternoon. But like my old friend Bubba says, “Don’t it have to rain some before you can have a flood?”
