Asheville’s own Steel Pan player, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, will be performing at the Grey Eagle on Thursday, August 27th. This a going to be a great chance to check out the new lineup & songs as well as see the Odd Meters who will be opening up for the evening. Jonathan in truly an innovative musician that can expand the sounds of Steel Pan outside the sphere of the Caribbean sounds and into Jazz, funk, bluegrass, Afrobeat, and other world rhythms. The Fourchestra’s shows are filled with avid listeners that appreciate quality compositions with a flare.
