From www.oliviermg.com’s blog:
This isn’t normally the thing for this platform, but a friend (BlogAsheville: see post here) posted a post about Bele Chere Bingo and asked for designers to contribute a bingo board based on one used at Burning Man a few years back. I was eating lunch. I couldn’t resist.
As a long-time Asheville resident, Bele Chere is not one of my favorite things. Sure, it is sort of like a public holiday so we usually get to cut off from work if not a full day early then at least a few hours early on Friday. Otherwise, it shuts down the entirety of downtown Asheville and doesn’t really benefit any local businesses. Maybe some, but not most.

To download, click on the image below to open the image in a separate tab/window. Right click (or CTL + Click for Mac) on the image and Save As to your desktop. I am not responsible for anything from there on. This was designed completely tongue in cheek and just for fun. Don’t sue me if anyone gets offended. If I get time, I will add more versions for variations. If you complete your card, post a link to it on Twitter and let us know (@weepapa)!

95 degree heat, rednecks and beer. I can't think of a worse combination. I work downtown and adding more beer vomit and urine smells just sucks. Why don't they combine Octoberfest and Bele Chere and have it in the fall when the weather is wonderful?
I really don't understand all the Bele Chere hate. I've always found that if I don't like something, I don't patronize/attend it. I guess that's not enough for some people.
Great idea. Well executed too.
