Interactive bubble machine sculpture to go on exhibit at UNC Asheville

A collection of interactive bubble-machines by UNC Asheville senior Anna Stanley, will be exhibited in the Highsmith University Union Gallery from April 22-May 1. An opening reception will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the gallery.

The exhibit, called “enter into//enter-act,” presents interactive bubble machines designed from wood, metal and textiles to create a playful environment. The show is the culmination of Stanley’s work towards a bachelor’s degree at UNC Asheville.

The gallery is located on the lower level of UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union, and is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. The exhibit and the opening reception are free and open to the public. For more information, call 828/251-6991.
