Get out and enjoy a beautiful Sunday, because Monday and Tuesday are going to suck.
Ray’s Weather says we’ll have a high in the 70s today. Gorgeous. But a vicious cold front will be moving through tonight and turn Monday into a blustery day that will feature some snow showers and flurries. We won’t see any accumulation, but the higher elevations could see several inches of accumulation. Expect the television news to act like we all live on the mountaintop.
This is all reminiscent of the great Easter freeze of 2007 that devastated strawberry crops, apple crops and an entire swatch of personal landscaping (not the least of which was my wonderful, gigantic rosemary).
Keep track of Ray’s Weather forecasts for Asheville here. They’re the best.

I noticed the grocery store was quite a bit busier than normal for a Monday morning. Everyone’s acting like they’ll be trapped on a mountain for a month…in April.
