A generous donor has offered to help RiverLink make its annual fund operating goal by matching donations dollar for dollar given or pledged between now and June 30. The Chair of the annual fund, Jean Webb, is a life time river advocate. Jean is leading the effort to raise the operating funds RiverLink needs to keep writing large grants that are crafted specifically to address needed improvements in the French Broad River and its watershed such as open space, bikeways, greenways and stream restorations designed to address erosion control and sediment problems. Sediment is the number #1 pollutant in the French Broad River watershed.
