That’s the question I’m going to ask the Mission Hospital’s baby birthing folks, because I’m seeing a lot of strollers filled with new bundles of joy on the streets of Ashvegas. Have you noticed?
It was just about nine months ago that we had one of the snowiest winters in a long time here in Asheville. That meant a lot of power outages. That meant a lot of people stuck together in houses and apartments, and what are you gonna do? You’re gonna get it on.

OMG!!! Is this why I am craving ice cream and thin mints and pickles?? Or is it the full moon?
Ba–ooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
In West Asheville, there has been a baby boom for 10 years.
Condom was frozen?
love it, ash!
Why would cold weather make birth control ineffective?
Yep! Got one due in a week.
4 days without power…roaring fire…oh yeah!
Our second bundle of joy is due in a couple weeks! Can be attributed directly to a long power outage due to a storm. Ooops!
