More awesomeness from Mark at Harvest Records:
1) Legendary leftie folk-punk hero BILLY BRAGG was randomly vacationing in Asheville with his family, and they stopped by the shop on Saturday!
He was super nice, talked about his son (who bought 3 45’s while in here) getting into vinyl, and told stories about being in record shops in London as a young man and hearing Bob Dylan for the first time. Pretty amazing.
Here’s a pic with me & Matt:
2) We have our 7th (!!!!!) Anniversary sale this Saturday! Time flies. Wanted to give you the details if’n it were possible to make a post. Either way, you know we love ya!
Everything on sale in the store. Giant basement sale with thousands of CDs for $1 each… and basement LPs this year will be TWO for $1!
The HOP ICE CREAM SHOP will provide sweet cold bliss from 10-2pm or so…
Also, HAGS FOOD CART (for Gluten-free, Dairy-free, vegan treats!)..
Also, HARDCASTLE HOT DOGS if Jeremy wakes up in time!

Nice! I have to (Billy) brag(g) about my encounter, too … I work at Pack Place and Billy bought tickets to the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival from me Saturday a.m. I about peed my pants.
