It’s official. Great news for a locally owned independent business.
Here’s the news, from Harvest Record’s newsletter:
With our friends at Custom Boutique recently closing up shop and moving back to Kentucky, we are taking a leap of faith: we’ve arranged to knock down part of the wall in between the two units and morph into one bigger, more extensive, more exciting record store.
We could provide more details on how it’s going to look, and what we’re going to do with all that new space, but that might spoil it a bit, you know?
So we’re asking you to join us on Friday, March 4th (two weeks from today! open at 11am)
We’re going to have fun. We will have food & beverages, lots more music on the floor, brand new art from a handful of our favorite local artists, smiles on our faces, and the amazing
CLOUDLAND CANYON playing at 8pm.
So will you please come out and celebrate with us?
It is important to note: To make the transition,
we will be CLOSED from Monday, February 28th thru Thursday, March 3rd. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
(And it should go without saying: thank you for your continual support of what we do. We are thrilled beyond belief that we even have the opportunity to expand right now, and it is because of all of you, our loyal customers and friends. Thank you thank you thank you!!!)

That's awesome! It is hard not to root for these guys. They keep their prices low and are always helpful without the stereotypical small record store ego. Glad to hear about the expansion.
