Greenville Dragnet: Asheville targeted for ‘solidarity rally’

In the lie down with dogs category we see that Asheville, NC is one of the cities that will have a “solidarity rally” for unions. Oddly most of the groups attending will not be unions at all but a collection of radicals, communists and shiftless young people. So it should be no surprise thata Black Bloc action similar to the one that so confused the liberal residents recently.

A little bird tells me the anarchists have taken to avoiding using their favorite sites like Indymedia to plan their real “direct actions” because police know to monitor them.

This is something to keep an eye on, as we all remember last year’s May Day melee.
