North Star Diner becomes Weaverville’s third live music venue on Friday, September 28 when Valorie Miller hits the stage. They tell me they’ll have live music every Friday and Saturday beginning at 9 p.m. Other performers on their schedule include:
September 29: Cary Fridley and Darin Gentry
October 5: Valorie Miller
October 6: the Grit Pixies
What are the other two venues for live music in Weavervegas? The pizza place and the little bakery right nearby, methinks.
If you haven’t checked out the North Star Diner yet, you need to. It’s run by Joe Eckert, the same guy who operates the Jakc of the Wood. The North Star has a great menu, a spacious dining area and now – live music. Awesome.

Hmm, bad editing on my part. Yes, Blue Mountain Pizza and Well-Bred Bakery are the other two venues. Blue Mountain regularly posts their music schedule online at http://www.bluemountainpizza.com/music.html. Well-Bred keeps it on a chalkboard in the bakery.
