Get waxed! Harvest Records holding Asheville Sound Swap on Nov. 14

Here’s the note from the loyal readers at Harvest Records:

Wanted to let you know about an upcoming event we (Harvest Records!) are putting on November 14th.

It’s our 4th installment of the ASHEVILLE SOUND SWAP! We bring 40 of the region’s finest record dealers, record stores & record nerds together for one Sunday afternoon to sell the finest vinyl they have!

Vendors come from all over the southeast & east coast and bring all sorts of artifacts — LPs, 45s, CDs, memorabilia, whatever — and the public comes out in droves to get their paws on this stuff. And in case you haven’t noticed, there’s a very strong push these days for the “comeback” of vinyl! (Although many would remind you that it never actually went away…)

We host this at the Grey Eagle, complete with Cajun restaurant & bar open all day for everyone’s pleasure. It is NOVEMBER 14th, from 11am-5pm. It will coincide with the Fall Studio Stroll in the River Arts District; a perfect time to get out and enjoy some unique Asheville shopping experiences!

Not only that, but various friends & vendors will take turns spinning records while folks shop to make the experience that much more exciting. And one can find anything that day — from the rarest of rare LPs down to $1. Something for everyone.
