The Wilmington paper feels our pain.
On Tuesday, Wilmington’s $3.151 average topped the national average of $3.142 but remained just below the statewide average of $3.155. At $3.186, the Asheville area had the most expensive gas in the state. On average, Wilmington-area motorists are spending 83 cents a gallon more than they paid a year ago.</blockquote
