WLOS has new, fresh face to report your local news. From wktv.com back on April 30:
NEWSChannel 2 has announced that reporter and anchor Emma Wright’s last day at the station is Sunday, May 1.
Emma is leaving Central New York to accept a job at WLOS-TV in Asheville, North Carolina.
Emma has anchored NEWSChannel 2 Weekend at 6:00 and 11:00 since August of 2009, along with reporting during the week.
I haven’t seen Wright on the TV box yet, have you?

Yeah, a real revolving door. Sherrill's been there since the '70s; John, Russ, and Jay for well over a decade; Charu, Holly, and Julie since the early 2000s. Darcel since the early '80s. Tammy since 1993. Stan since the late '70s with the exception of a year or two. Victoria for at least seven or eight. Larry for six years. Frank K. for a total of about eight or nine years over two stints. Frank F. for what, five? And that's just the on-air folks. Plenty of producers, photographers, editors, directors, and other behind-the-scenes folks have long tenures doing the best they can with the meager resources available to them.
Every TV newsroom is a revolving door, to some extent. WLOS is no different. Some people will stay because they like the area or have climbed as high in the market hopping game as they want (or can). Others will move on. It's the nature of the beast.
she starts today.
Another poor rookie joins the kindergarten news operation at WLOS. This station has been a revolving door for decades now. Reporters come here and move on asap when they see what a small town news operation Ch 13 really is.
Have not seen her yet on WLOS…I'm sure she will debut soon.
