Electronic sign with LED lighting planned for Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville

A new electronic sign with LED lighting is being planned for downtown Asheville. Knowing how much people like to complain about signs of this kind, it’s sure to catch some comment.

The Diana Wortham Theatre inside Pack Place wants the marquee to advertise its offerings. It would be placed above the courtyard entrance to the theater between the Marble Slab and the upcoming Circle in the Square pizza joint. 

Details still haven’t been hashed out, but look plans to soon emerge. The new sign is just one of a number of improvements the DWT plans to spruce up, and up its profile.
