Election Day 2008: Is everybody here? Is everybody ready?

Share

It’s here. Finally. I’ll be running all over creation, but I’ll be checking in periodically. If you hear anything about lines at the polls, or if you have any election news at all (like “I voted!”) drop me a line. I’d love to hear from you. (sweetashvegas@hotmail.com)

It looks like a lovely day. My plan is to hit the streets early and check in on some polling places. It occurs to me that this will the first presidential election in my working life not spent in the newsroom of a daily newspaper. More thoughts on that later.

Hope everybody has a great day.

It is finally done. Maybe this nationwide tension will run down quickly and we can get on with the real issues.
