Way to support, er snub, your local graphic artists! I have a contest idea… Enter the Smith Family Cook Off Contest… Create a great meal and bring it to my house on July 4th. You could drink off the keg for free!
These "contests" occur so frequently now. How can an organization that touts how important it is to "support local farming" not realize the impact of these types of contests?. Pay one of Asheville's talented local graphic artists, or at the very least offer a prize for what the cost of a logo design might actually cost, that way it would be worth a professionals time.
