WLOSer Bowen: ‘Homeland’ to shoot near Asheville in October

Share

WLOS reporter Russ Bowen recently tweeted:

Sources say Showtime’s “Homeland” to film for a few weeks in Barnardsville (just outside Asheville) in Oct

I don’t know who Bowen’s sources are, but fall in the mountains is always a great time for filming a movie or, in this case, a television show. I haven’t seen the show, but it sounds intriguing. I heard an NPR interview this morning with Claire Danes, one of the stars. You can read/listen to NPR’s interview with Danes here.

Meantime, we’ll keep an eye out for Danes and co-star Damian Lewis.
