Asheville celebrity spotting: Ellie Goulding at 12 Bones, around town

Share

British pop star Ellie Goulding has been spotted around Asheville the past few days. Twitter reports show that Goulding visited 12 Bones today, and my colleague and Goulding fangirl Carol Motsinger reports seeing the star jogging up a street near the River Arts District sporting some sick Nike girl. (Goulding, best known for her song Lights, is a huge runner and often invites her fans to run with her before shows, Carol reports.)

Why is Goulding here? Motsinger surmises the following: Goulding has been romantically linked with Jeremy Irvine, the War Horse star who is in the area for the making of an independent film called The World Made Straight, based on the book by my local hero, author Ron Rash.

Goulding tweeted the following earlier Thursday:

Leaving Asheville today. Beautiful town. Kindest friendliest people. Next stop Dublin… And I LOVE Dublin so much
