Deadly tornadoes rage, and former UNCA meteorology students blog it at AccuWeather

Share

Deadly storms have been flying across the country today, and graduates of UNC Asheville’s awesome meteorology program are keeping tabs on the breaking news.

UNCA Alum Jesse Ferrell blogs it here for AccuWeather. He’s got video, radar snapshots and AP photos from the storms that have raged in Oklahoma, Kentucky, Illinois and other locales. UNCA alum Henry Margusity blogs info about Texas and Arkansas storms, and much more.

I found the links through Frank Strait’s AccuWeather blog. It’s good information for all you weather-hounds.

Thanks for the mention! I miss Asheville. I think you mixed up Henry and Frank – Frank is the UNCA Alum; Henry went to Penn State.

Completely ot Ash, but would you please quit posting so fast? I’m having to scroll down way to much to check comments. I’m getting carpal tunnel in my scroll-finger. Don’t make me salute you with it.
