Dave Gronewoller of GCPartners Inc., out of Winston-Salem, said he could not give a specific location, but his company has found a spot in Asheville for a Golden Corral.
“We do have a location, and we’re real close to having the deal done,” he said. “It is in the city limits. We’ve got a building to demolish.”
If all goes smoothly, Gronewoller expects to have the restaurant up and running by next spring or summer.
When open, the Golden Corral will employ 120-140 people. It will be the first Golden Corral in this market, Gronewoller said.

Golden Corral will do great in Asheville. We have a bunch of fat people that are upset since Ryan’s closed on Patton.

120-140 people??!! Is each one going to work 2 hour shifts? Maybe they will have dozens of dumpster buffets open. Gotta let dem flies do their work on dem ribs.

a) Golden Corral is not a steak house. It does not matter how much steak they serve, they are a fast casual buffet restaurant, not a steak house.
b) How does one restaurant employ 120-140 people? Will they have *no* full-time employees?
Maybe they mean in one year, factoring in the turnover rate : /
