I happen to be more interested in current local and regional news/events/tends rather than in taking a stroll down memory lane. Honestly, we all know its the 21st century, and we all know "YouTube" but thanks realityczech for imparting that knowledge to us. I see little value, or harm, from the WLOS items here, but certainly there are other local things to report on that are more current and far more interesting.

Hey Louise & Matt. How about giving Ash a little break here? First of all, he is and always has been a dyed-in-the-wool print guy. Ash only "went electronic" when internet sites and blogs came into fashion. Secondly, he’s not obsessed with WLOS. Asheville happens to be a "one horse"/TV station town. That’s not Ash’s choice or fault. So it makes sense that he keeps his eye on the local, television goings on. Get it? As for "obscure video clips", people love them. I don’t happen to and don’t know why, but a lot of folks do. Ever checked-out another on-line source for what at times contains similar content? It’s called http://www.youtube.com. Welcome to the 21st century!
Umm, are you guys new? Making fun of and lauding the occasional accomplishments of WLOSers is Ash’s stock in trade.

Who really cares about an obscure video clip from years ago?
And the replies are more like something from TMZ or Access Hollywood.
Way too much emphasis on tv news here Ash, especially WLOS News 13.

Ash,
For goodness sake, would you please tone down your obsession for all things WLOS?
I’m guessing you always wanted to be a tv journalist instead of a print guy.
Why didn’t you just try and get a job at WLOS when you left the Citizen Times?

Tammy Watford has always been HOT, despite those bad hairstyles of the late `90s! Also a great communicator on TV and sweet person in real life. TW rocks!!!
