Hi Jason, how are you? I’ve got a new project that I’m very excited about that I would love to turn your readers on to. The group is called Lovestruck Suckers, and it features 3 out of 4 members of The Opal String Quartet.
Our bio is at the bottom of this email, but in short, the instrumentation is vocals, guitar, violin, viola, and cello, and the music is, at it’s core, acoustic singer/songwriter type songs, enriched and given a classical edge by the string trio.
It is very personal, emotional, and (all humility aside) beautiful music. We have a concert coming up at The Altamont Theatre on June 9th at 8 pm with Asheville favorites Ten Cent Poetry opening the show.
