I just have to say that I am praying for everyone in the path of Hurricane Katrina, which looks like one vicious bitch. I hope WNC does, indeed, stay out of it’s path.
I’ve never been anywhere close to a real hurricane, especially not one like Katrina. I was here in Ashvegas when the remnants of Hugo tore through, and that was scary enough for me. I remember Opal, a tropical storm, pounding the shit out of us with rain about 10 years ago. And of course, I remember last year’s Ivan and Frances.
But Katrina – no thanks.
