Eric Henry with T.S. Designs Inc. was pimping his Burlington, N.C., company’s T-shirts at Organicfest Saturday. I thought they were pretty cool. He explained a patented process that made his shirts special, a manufacturing method somewhat lost on me.
The bottom line I got was that the T-shirt printing his company does it not stuck to the shirt and doesn’t have that plastic feel. With his process, the printing is “built into” the shirt, so when you feel it, the printed part is just as soft as the rest. And the process pre-shrinks the shirts, so the size you see is the size you get. Eric, feel free to comment – you explained it much better than I am.
His big seller: A shirt with a rugged Humvee that says “BUMMER.”
