Buffalo Wild Wings was swamped this morning with people standing in line in hopes of being one of the first 100 people in at the new Tunnel Road eatery. The first 100 win a basket of six free wings a week for the next year.
no, I have feeling those "people" act like that all the time, they were just immortalized this time.. another place I can pass up and outlast.

(Referring to photos above) Wow- the promise of a free basket of wings per week makes people behave this idiotically? Scary!!

Based on Ash’s photographic images of the grand opening clientele, I believe I will eat my occasional basket of wings anywhere but Buffalo Wild. Food "on the house" always brings out the worst in people. Plus this joint is located on Tunnel Road. That alone makes it not worth six free wings a week for 100 years.

I wonder how much of a dent this will give "Wild Wings Cafe" on Biltmore Ave.

Chickens are inquisitive, interesting animals who are as intelligent as mammals like cats, dogs, and even primates. They are very social and like to spend their days together, scratching for food, cleaning themselves in dust baths, roosting in trees, and lying in the sun. Dr. Chris Evans, administrator of the animal behavior lab at Australia’s Macquarie University, says, “As a trick at conferences, I sometimes list [chickens’] attributes, without mentioning chickens, and people think I’m talking about monkeys.”

I’m so glad those folks have some place to go that’s nowhere near where I hang out.
Welcome to the neighborhood, BWW!
Dang, those folks are wild for some wings.
I’m sure their parents are very proud….
