Blue Ridge Roller Girls start season April 4

The all-female flat track roller derby league from Asheville, NC will host a competition April 4, 2009 at Asheville Civic Center for their 2009 Season Opener, “Back In Black”. Information about the Blue Ridge Rollergirls may be found at:www.myspace.com/blueridgerollergirls

March 24, 2009: The Blue Ridge Rollergirls (BRRG) will begin their 2009 season by hosting a competition April 4, 2009 in Asheville, North Carolina at the Asheville Civic Center against the Savannah Derby Devils from Savannah, GA.  Doors open at 6:00 PM with the bout beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $12 (children 12 and under free) the day of the event. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com and at the Asheville Civic Center. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Loving Food Resources of Asheville, NC.
