Press release here:
On March 2, from noon to 5 p.m., Biltmore will host a Spring Job Fair to fill a variety of employment opportunities across the estate. As warmer weather approaches, Biltmore traditionally raises its staffing levels to serve the increased number of annual guests who visit from April–December.
“This is a memorable year for us,” said Scott McLean, Staffing Services Manager for The Biltmore Company. “We’ll be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of both Festival of Flowers and the Biltmore Winery, plus the opening of our new Antler Hill Village.” McLean added that these and other events will increase visitation as well as expanding the estate’s employment opportunities by as many as 120 new jobs for Antler Hill Village.
The spring job fair will be held at Lioncrest at Biltmore. All available positions will be listed at www.biltmore.com.
“Interested participants are welcome to download an application from our website ahead of time,” McLean said, “and bring the completed application and a resume with them to the job fair.”
McLean advises applicants to arrive ready to interview with managers for the areas in which they’re interested or eligible for employment. Applicants arriving at Biltmore’s Admissions Gate will be directed to the appropriate parking area. Shuttles will be provided to and from Lioncrest.
About Antler Hill Village
Biltmore’s newest offering is a 15-acre village setting that encompasses our winery and farm. By design, this is a place where guests can relax and connect with the less formal side of the Biltmore story. Guests will discover more about the Vanderbilts within The Biltmore Legacy exhibition featuring letters, photos and objects from the Biltmore collection, while Traditions offers a graceful mix of retail products, including work by local artisans.
The Creamery is a tribute to the original Biltmore Dairy Bar, and the new Outdoor Adventure Center is a one-stop shop for everything needed to inspire outdoor activities.
Biltmore’s winery has expanded to include a new entrance and more interactive approaches to wine, and Cedric’s Tavern welcomes guests into a warm, friendly atmosphere of pub fare with Biltmore flair. Cedric’s features a full bar, live music in the evening, and outdoor seating.
