Bill Clinton to attend church in Asheville Sunday

The McDowell paper has the story. But it doesn’t say which church. Could it be an African-American church?

Local Democratic Party officials said former President Bill Clinton, campaigning for wife Hillary, will be in Marion sometime after 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Marion Depot. Details were still being worked out.

The scheduled called for Clinton to attend church in Asheville and then travel to Marion. The stop is one of five in small towns on Sunday. We’ll have more details on Clinton’s visit as they become available.
