You can bring them to the Arts 2 People’s new office at e-Cycle Me (101 S. Lexington Ave.- the New Charlotte Street Computer location) 9-6 M-f, 10-5 Sat. Kitty Love, Arts 2 People’s executive director, will also come and pick them up if you just cannot find the time to drop off; call her at 216-8815.

The sale will take place Saturday, January 31st from 10-4 at the French Broad Food Co-op (outside if good weather, upstairs if bad), and Sunday, February 1st from 12-5 at Firestorm Cafe.  CD’s and DVD’s will be only $2!

Sales volunteers also needed!! This will be a fun volunteer effort for a good cause; it is a fundraiser for a great A2P program, REACH (Responsive Education Accessing Creativity for Healing).

Arts 2 People, the local nonprofit organization that has been fostering grass-roots independent art in Asheville for years, is seeking donations of used music CDs and music/movie DVDs of all genres.  This CD Sale is a fundraiser to sustain the second annual workshop series “With our Hands”; which provides free art classes of all genres to all, but has been focused on sexual assault survivors working with Our Voice.  The intent of theses classes is to invoke the power of creativity to aid in the healing process.   The series culminates in an annual sexual assault survivors’ art show showcasing the creations of series participants and others.

Please help support the recovery of victims of sexual violence while supporting local starving artists!  Donate those unwanted CDs and DVDs and free up some space for the new Christmas stuff you got. THANKS EVER SO MUCH!
