Beautiful bras on parade Saturday at The Venue for Sassy Bras for Classy Broads fundraiser

Here’s the note from my ol’ buddy and loyal reader Tammy. This sounds like a fun event:

Can you help a sister out? Would you please consider posting this to your website to help spread the word about a really cool fundraiser this weekend?

It’s the 2nd annual “Sassy Bras for Classy Broads” Party and it’s happening  this Saturday night at the Venue, right across from Magnolia’s, downtown. Local artists have used the standard old bra as the foundation (forgive the pun) for a unique braissere creation. Lovely ladies will showcase these works of art during a “Braissere Parade.” And there’s an opportunity to take one home (the artwork, not the chicks). Each will be auctioned, with the proceeds benefiting CarePartners Hospice and the Hope Chest for Women.

Tickets are $25 and that includes heavy appetizers plus the extraordinary Kat Williams singing the night away. There’s a cash bar, too.

I’m an emcee along with my colleague from 105.9 the Mountain. I’m not sure what he’s wearing, but I am making my own piece of artwork … I won’t reveal details except to say it includes feathers and blinking lights.

I swear there’s not another party like this in town! It’s a hoot – and it’s the one night of the year that it’s okay for husbands to offer money to scantily clad women!
