Note here from Barry, a long time Wall Street-er who owns Beads and Beyond:
I own Beads and Beyond at 37 Wall St. I have been introducing “Barry’s Genuine Detroit Coneys” on saturdays from 11-3 at Beads and Beyond. I serve authentic coney’s all beef dog in a natural casing, (I get them in a string from National Coney Island in Detroit) and authentic coney island chili. These hot dogs are very tasty and are known for their “snap” when grilled. So come try the great taste and sounds of “Motown”, saturdays at Beads and Beyond. I would like to know how I can get a listing?
Thank you,
Barry Olen

Bravo on your knowledge of geography! These are "coney islands" (note the lower case), which are Detroit-area hot dogs of a specific type, not neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Other than the name, New York's got nothing to do with it.

From the National Coney Island website:
National Coney Island currently owns and operates over 20 restaurants in Southeastern Michigan, and has been in business since 1965.
Corporate Headquarters is located in Roseville, Michigan – the city of the first unit, which was opened at the Macomb Mall.
um…Coney Island is in NY not Detroit…Just saying
Awesome!
