Consider supporting these Asheville entrepreneurs. Here’s more from a press release:
Bari Naturals, a new project of Bari Salon owners Moriah Luzius and Sarah Becker, is in the works and planned to be launched this month. Its goals reach farther than the typical product line; the idea behind Bari Naturals is to provide practical, everyday products that also support a network of needs locally and globally.
Through partnering with The Her Initiative, the debut product—a powdered, color-matching dry shampoo—is working to save water and provide solutions in developing communities across the globe. For each dry shampoo sold another bottle or its monetary value is given to support The Her Initiative. “The idea is to foster a community of business that values people over profit,” said Luzius. “So every product we create will correlate with a cause that is relevant environmentally and socially in our world.”
Bari Salon has played a key role in revamping the east-west corridor of West Asheville and their plan is to keep that momentum going. Coming upon the salon’s four year anniversary Sarah Becker elaborates on future plans for the business community: “One of our greater goals is to create a production facility that is community oriented. A big dream of ours is to provide that resource for our community here in Asheville. We plan on expanding our existing location to make room for the future production space.”
