Brad Bohen, the Wisconsin-based Musky guide and two-time World Record holder, is coming to Asheville on Saturday, April 9. He’ll be on hand at renowned local fly-fishing shop Hunter Banks Co. from 11 a.m until 5 p.m. to talk Musky, tie some flies and interact with the public.
Then he’ll attend the 2011 edition of the Fly-Fishing Film Tour, at the new Highland Brewing Co. tasting room. Portions of Bohen’s latest film, Musky Country—Zero 2 Hero will be included in this year’s official movie. Known as “F3T,” the Fly-Fishing Film Tour is the original and world’s largest event of its kind. In a party-type atmosphere, this celebration of fly-fishing showcases never-before-seen footage from waterways worldwide.
This year’s two-hour compilation features exciting fly-fishing segments on fish such as Muskies, Bonefish, Permit, Redfish, Billfish, Mako Sharks and Smallmouth Bass, plus special features on locations including New Zealand and Baja. All segments are taken from award-winning films of 2010.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
